Top Ten Conjure Oils for Witches, Wizards and Everything in between...

If you've been a Witch or Magickal practitioner of any sorts for over six months, then you know the importance of conjure oils. Depending on your practice; witch, wizard, druid, Modern shaman, Hoodoo practitioner, etc. then the use of conjure oils and recipes will differ. Yet, no matter what Magickal label you put on yourself, all of us share the need for particular oils.
This is a list of the TOP 10 most used oils within the Magickal community. You are more than welcome to "tweak" the oils by adding or subtracting ingredients as you see fit, same goes for the names of each oil.
Remember, in Hoodoo the name of something needed might go under a different name so always see what "other names" they may go by if you ever hit a wall, and your sitting there like, " well shit, I don't have Vervain." then you go to check other names and bam, you do have it because it also is Verbena.
Names can be tricky when you're just starting out in Witchcraft/Magick, doing a little research before freaking out because you don't have a certain herb/oil/crystal will be immensely helpful in the future as well as the now.
So take what you want out of this list or simply copy and print the recipes for your own Book of Shadows and play around with the recipes or play with the ingredients all together and make something "new" from it. The choices are endless...
(NOTE:) All recipes are for a 1.5 oz- 2.0 oz essential oil bottle; I always suggest amber, dark green or dark blue to preserve your oils longer.
For 2023 everyone could use my number 1 oil ( note there are a million versions; I will include 2 popular recipes, and you can substitute for another E.O or the herb itself)
a.)Money-Drawing oil-
5 drops Sandalwood e.o
5 drops Patchouli e.o
2 drops Ginger e.o
2 drops Vetivert e.o
1 drop Orange e.o
b.) Money flows with ease oil
4 drops Orange Sweet
3 drops Cedar-wood
2 drops Patchouli
2 drops Clary Sage
2. All purpose Anointing Oil: for anointing objects, tools, consecration, and blessings
a.) Basic all purpose
15 drops Frankincense
15 drops Myrrh
b.) Stronger version; for purification & cleansing spell candles
5 drops Frankincense
5 drops cedar-wood
4 drops sandalwood
2 drops Myrrh
3. Fiery Wall of Protection oils are extremely popular and great to have when you need to protect your home, objects, or the self. Remember you can add resins in place of oils, add protective crystal chips to your bottles, and you can add the literal herbs. NOTE: this oil works best with extra virgin olive oil
a.) Fiery wall 1
5 drops Dragon's blood oil OR 1 to 2 small pieces of resin
5 drops Frankincense OR 1 to 2 small pieces of resin
5 Drops Myrrh OR 1 to 2 small pieces of resin
a pinch of blessed course Sea Salt
b.) fiery wall 2 (much stronger version)
1 pc. Frankincense
sm. pinch Cayenne pepper or any hot pepper you have on hand
sm. pinch Rue
3 drops Sandalwood e.o
sm pinch Angelica Root or powder
1 drop Cinnamon e.o
sm pinch blessed Sea Salt
5 drops Ginger e.o
1 small Bay Laurel leaf (preferably dried)
1/4 Tsp. Dragons Blood Resin
4. Get your Manifestations during the full moon stronger with these two recipes
a.) Full Moon Oil
Piece of Moonstone in bottle
3 drops Jasmine e.o
1 drop Rose e.o
5 drops Lemon e.o
3 drops Sandalwood e.o
b.) Full Moon Manifestation oil
13 drops Sandalwood e.o
9 drops Vanilla e.o
3 drops jasmine e.o
1 drop Rose e.o
5. Every Witch and Magickal person should definitely have this next oil, and def for 2023 because we always need a road open to get through the crap currently happening
a.) Road Opener Oil 1
7 drops Sandalwood e.o
5 drops Honeysuckle e.o or a pinch of Honeysuckle
3 drops Vanilla e.o
2 drops Gardenia or a couple petals
b.) Hoodoo version 2
3 drops Lemongrass e.o
5 drops Cedar-wood e.o
5 drops Orange and a pinch of dried orange peel
pinch dried lemon peel
small piece High John the Conqueror Root or powdered
pinch Sage
pinch Mint
6. Having any version of this oil can always be beneficial for any Witch or Magickal person.
a.) Banishing oil; You can use this recipe to banish anything that is undesirable in your life.
7 drops Frankincense OR 1/4 tsp. Frankincense tears/resin
5 drops Rosemary e.o
1 small dried bay leaf (whole if possible) OR 3 drops e.o
1/4 tsp. Angelica Root OR powdered
3 drops Basil OR 1/4 tsp dried basil
b.) Banishing # 2
5 drops Black Pepper e.o
3 drops Pine e.o
2 drops Peppermint e.o
1/4 tsp dried Rue
7. Adding a punch to any spell is always a plus, this Power oil recipe is my go to when I am really needing that punch!
a.) Power Oil
4 drops Orange e.o
1 drop Ginger e.o
1 drop Pine e.o
1 drop Patchouli
8. New Witches & Magickal people can get very overwhelmed by all the oils needed, it's okay, there are almost always a substitute. For this oil I recommend mixing herbs with oils to give it a bit more power. At least that's what's worked for me for over a decade with this oil blend.
a.) Sabbat Oil
3 drops Frankincense e.o
2 drops Myrrh e.o
2 drops Sandalwood e.o
1 drop Orange or Orange Sweet e.o
3 drops Lemon e.o
Use this for ANY Sabbat ritual or Celebration
b.) Sabbat Oil # 2
2 drops Pine e.o
2 drops Ginger e.o
1 drop Cinnamon e.o
1 drop Sandalwood e.o
9. Harnessing planetary energies is always a good thing to do in Witchcraft. This oil is made to bring prosperity, money, abundance, stability, and a good foundation.
a.) Earth Oil
4 drops Patchouli e.o & if possible a few dried leaves but NOT necessary
4 drops Cypress e.o
10. Last, but surely never least these last two recipes are for your future and necessary to move forward in your job/career, business endeavors, and anything you want to succeed in.
a.) Success Oil # 1
5 drops Sandalwood e.o
pinch Five-Finger-grass AKA Ciniquefoil
5 drops Frankincense AND 3 Frankincense tears small
1/2 stick Cinnamon broken into small pieces AND 1 drop Cinnamon e.o
3 drops Lemon e.o or 1/4 tsp. dried grated Lemon Peel
OPTIONAL: piece High John the Conqueror Root
b.) Van Van Oil because it brings Luck (no matter if its love, money, or success)
7 drops Vanilla e.o
5 drops Vetiver e.o
3 drops Lemon e.o
1-3 drops Rose e.o (depending on how strong you want it, I prefer 1)
Closing statements...
I have been a practicing Witch for over 20 years, my practice holds tough on oils, herbs, and crystals. I have been working on different oil blends for a very long time.
You can take these recipes with a grain of salt or you can print them and play around with different versions, not all recipes will resonate with every Witch/Magickal person. Never let another Witch tell you something you make, that works for you and your practice is wrong. That's "Gas-lighting" so I encourage you to start small and work your way to a bit more complicated recipes.
I also recommend starting with fragrance oils, and please dilute with a carrier oil that corresponds with your intention. As fragrance oils are cheaper than essential oils, then once you feel you've got it, start working with the real deals.
