As a new or seasoned Witch or Magickal person living in a busy modern world should know how to make jar spells as they can be the easiest, quickest, form of Magick when you don't have a lot of time on your hands.
Jar spells date back to thousands of years, Ancient Egyptians, Romanian, British, Haitian, people all use a form of jar spells. The history is murky as to just how far back, but you can only imagine.
Today we are going to make a jar for a successful business. Get out your Mason jars or that pretty glass bottle that you've been waiting to use and lets gather our correspondences.
But first a few books that will help you with correspondences and books that I hold dear to my heart.
Scott Cunningham's- Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs
Lexa Rosean- The Encyclopedia of Magickal Ingredients
Shawn Robbins & Leanna Greenaway- Wiccapedia ( A modern day white Witch's guide)
I personally own all of these books, but you do not need too. There are also huge bundled affordable printables on Etsy that you can buy and make your own book. No matter what route you take, having a book dedicated to herbal correspondences is a must in practicing Witchcraft & Magick in general.
You will also need a correspondence book of crystals and metals.
Scott Cunningham's- Crystal, Gem, and Metal Magic
Judy Hall's-The Crystal Bible
Hazel Raven- Sacred Crystals
Shawn Robbins & Leanna Greenaway's- The Crystal Witch ( The Magickal way to calm and heal the mind, body, and spirit)
Lisa Chamberlain- Wicca- Crystal Magic
And before we begin, I will be discussing Rune symbols to mark on your Witches Bottles, if your interested in the Magick of Runes I would find a book suited for you.
And again, Etsy has some amazing printables that are very affordable if you want to do that and add any if not all of this info to your BOS Book of Shadows, because in the end you will need all of this information.
Our first bottle will be for Success, this will work for anything you want to succeed in your life, school, online business, store, etc.

The Jar:
Firstly, if you decide to go with a cork jar like in the photo, it will make it a bit easier to seal it with candle wax for the completion, but by no means is it the only jar you can use.
Please use any jar that speaks to you as there is no one jar. We love to thrift our jars, even antique shops have really old one of a kind jars that are perfect for things like this.
These little cork jars are perfect for a traveling Witch, all you need is a small Picture hanging kit. You can find them on the cheap at Walmart, Home Depot, Ace, you get my drift. They come with tiny eye hooks perfect for making hanging or necklace Witch jars. (Much more costly at hobby lobby)
For your home, office, living room, etc., you can create bigger, more extravagant ones. Be true to your style and make and use what speaks to you. Witches Jars are easy to make, fun, and can add a touch of magic to anywhere or anything.

There is no one standing over you telling you what to do and how to do it when you're practicing Witchcraft and Magick. Anything and everything goes when it's your own practice.
Don't be afraid to do what feels right to you, and follow your intuition. Spell bottles hold the power of your Magick, so enjoy them and use them judiciously.
