My quick story

The use of crystals in Witchcraft dates back thousands of years, and we are still using them to this day. I have always been fascinated by the way rocks, crystals and gems are formed.

* A quick story on how I learned about Quartz Crystal. As a little girl my grandparents owned many acres of land in the Cascade Mt. range in WA. We call it the PNW, short for the Pacific Northwest. But upon this land we had two bodies of water. The first one was right across the driveway. A creek that ran straight off Mt. Rainer, needless to say it was pure glacier water. Roughly three-fourths of a mile across our land was the Cowlitz River, this river ran all the way to the ocean. She was beautiful but dangerous.

When I was around eight, I took a walk into the dense forest to the river. Back then you were able to walk down to the river banks and walk on the millions of rocks to stand right in front of the river. I had always known I was different, and was slowly making my way into the Craft without realizing it. But that day, I was skipping rocks and enjoying my break from the city when I stumbled across my first cluster of Quartz crystal. From that moment on I was hooked.

HISTORY OF THE QUARTZ CRYSTAL:

Quartz is an old German word that refers to objects of uncertain origin, first coined in 1530 by Georgius Agricola.

Many centuries ago a man by the name Pliny the Elder believed Quartz was ice frozen solid over many lengths of time. This was the main belief for many till the 17th century. Nicolas Steno studied these gems and paved the way for modern Crystallography. He discovered many things that pertain to the quarts, concluding that no matter the size or shape its prism faces always joined at a perfect 60 degree angle.

In 1880 Jacques and Pierre Curie discovered its mechanical properties, by 1921 George Washington Pierce designed and patented the first clock ran purely off quartz crystal. So it began, bringing big ideas to fruition.

Nowadays, computers, electronic, and even cars run or are powered by quartz crystal.

For thousands of years people have gravitated towards quartz and its cousins in Witchcraft, Rituals, Offerings, sorcery, and many others as powering tools. Such as but not limited to;
