Short History of Florida Water
This perfume creation that took over the United States and beyond all started in 1808, breaking even recods today, this perfume became the most sold cologne in the world.
Because of the year and timing of its release, slavery had become promonate in the Southern State (mainly thriving in Louisiana). Slaves that were in house servants were made to where the perfume as the owners wanted their guestes to only smell scents that were attractive.
At this time African Americans were Banned from practicing their own religions nor speak about their own views, being forced to practice Christianity, namely Chathlic practices, even though it wasn't something they new much or anythng about.
Now its not specified to one singular African American, or just exactly how the use of Florida Water was brought in, but the short version is that someone noticed all of its floral notes and learned of the contents within the perfume such as: Lavenders, Sweet Orange, and Cloves. And that was the beginning of a lifetime of Magick (without getting caught).
It was perfect for Magickal working associated with but not limited to:
- Ritual Offerings
- Purification
- Blocking out negativity & baneful spirits/entities
- Protection
- To draw in good fortune/Luck
- And can be used in any spell to block negativity from entering.

- Floor washes
- Spray on surfaces or in the air for added protection or to bring in good luck/fortune
- Use on energy points such as the Third Eye for inner sight & wisdom. Or on inner wrist and behind knees for added energy and protection.
